3AM is a creative accelerator. We work with film, TV, and video game creators to generate marketing and narrative opportunities from development through launch and beyond. We have an assembly of the industry’s best multidisciplinary creative talent, made possible by our partnerships with RSA Films and Wild Card.

Our Partners

One of the world’s most respected film, TV, commercial, music video, and VR companies, founded by Ridley and Tony Scott in 1968.

One of the world’s most respected theatrical advertising and editorial companies, founded by editor Nick Temple in 2007.

Why We’re Unique

3AM was founded by Ridley Scott, Alison Temple, Nick Temple, and Jules Daly to meet the marketing needs of filmmakers in a rapidly evolving industry.

Our company brings together an array of expert talent across film, advertising, branded entertainment, technology, and editorial. Our team is structured as a multidisciplinary “writer’s room,” different from any agency or production company structure.

Our partnership with RSA Films offers our clients access to a different level of creative talent and new methods for making and delivering content. Click here to explore RSA’s creative roster.

We begin working during the early stages of pre-production to create a long-term strategy, which informs marketing opportunities and content development. Our goal is to develop materials that create awareness, engage audiences, and ensure that individual media experiences always add up to a more satisfying and effective whole.

Utilizing our strategic platform, we create content that purposefully extends the narrative of the film, whether this means building the world, expressing the most important themes and ideas, introducing or deepening the characters, or highlighting the production journey in a meaningful way.

Throughout the process, we connect filmmakers, studios, and brands to enable partnerships that are deeply integrated and create shared value — from in-world integration to branded content to pioneering brand activations.

Behind the Name

3AM logo

People always ask us about our name (it has nothing to do with the Matchbox 20 song or our operating hours).

3AM represents a moment of presence: the time of day when reality is suspended and barriers come down. It’s a place of solitude and a sanctuary for creativity, where ideas can be honed in silence — far away from the distractions of modern life.

For a moment of night we have a glimpse of ourselves and of our world islanded in its stream of stars — pilgrims of mortality, voyaging between horizons across eternal seas of space and time.

We’ve constructed a seasoned team with singular strategic and creative expertise, and a unique ability to work with stakeholders across studio departments, filmmakers, and production communities.
